F.A.Q

  • Indica is a classification of marijuana strain that is known for it’s relaxing, therapeutic qualities and for providing chronic pain relief. It is sometimes characterized as more relaxing in effect than the Sativa variety because Indica strains are known to have higher levels of CBD. Users tend to prefer to smoke Indica strains during the evening because of it sedative, sleepiness effects.
  •
  • Sativa is used to describe a cannabis product that has uplifting, cerebral, and energetic effects. It is sometimes characterized as more stimulating in effect than the Indica variety. Sativa is a popular strain for users to wake-n-bake with or smoke mid-day because of its lighter effects. Sativa’s have less CBD and can tend to have more of a paranoia side affect.
  •
  • Hybrid cannabis plants are produced by cross-breeding two or more plants, such as Sativa and Indica plants, to make a hybrid. Simply put, a Hybrid strain is just a  combination of the positive characteristics of the different strains bred together. Hybrids can be broken down into three categories:
  • 1. Sativa-Dominant Hybrids: provides physical and mental relief with a cerebral high and a relaxing body effect.
    2. Indica-Dominant Hybrids: provides full-body relief with a relaxing, cerebral high.
    3. Even hybrids (50/50): provides an even head and body high.
  •
  • No two Hybrids are the same. Hybrid strains will give off a variety of effects because each hybrid is a cross between two different strains, meaning the effects are created by the two different parent marijuana strains. That’s why when you’re picking out cannabis, regardless of it being Indica, Sativa or Hybrid, you need to look at the chemical composition of the strain and its THC/CBD percentage.
  • Terpenes and Cannabinoids are both know active chemical compounds found in the Cannabis plant, and help produce the effects of the plant. Cannabinoids like THC and CBD are responsible for any psychoactive, therapeutic, and medicinal benefits of cannabis. Terpenes, although not as familiar, these compounds are responsible for flavor and smell. Cannabinoids and Terpenes work together to create what is known as the “Entourage Effect”
  • Entourage Effect – The Entourage Effect are the results produced from the synergistic interaction of the cannabinoids, flavonoids, terpenes, and fatty acids naturally found in industrial hemp. The Entourage Effect refers to the beneficial effect of all these compounds working together as opposed to just one or two of these compounds working in isolation.
